I had the opportunity to develop & create visual themes for Auto Accessories of America and Top Flight Automotive. I helped create the official branding guides which included each brand's colors, fonts, logo specifications and visual elements.
AUTO ACCESSORIES OF AMERICA
I created this idea map to identify unique words that would form the foundation of this brand's visual theme.
These graphics present the "look & feel" of the Auto Accessories of America brand.
I created these graphics to visually show the unique words highlighted in the idea map.
These graphics feature the new Auto Accessories of America logo, bright colorful photos of open roads, signs that read "Since 77" (but look similar to the iconic Route 66 sign) and faded American flags.
A catalog cover design featuring visual elements from the idea map.
TOP FLIGHT AUTOMOTIVE
I created this idea map to identify unique words that would form the foundation of this brand's visual theme.
I created these graphics to visually show the unique words highlighted in the idea map.
I created these custom gauge graphics to be used as branding elements.
I created this custom heads up display (HUD) to be used as a branding element. The images below show the relationship between sports cars and fighter jets. One image shows the heads up display in a Corvette. This gave me the idea to create a heads up display for the Top Flight Automotive brand and still be consistent with the idea map.
These images show how the visual theme would be used to present the company's retail store.
Some unique words highlighted in the idea map were: Top Gun, Badge, Pins, Patches, Jacket and Rank. I created this mock-up of a flight jacket featuring custom made Top Flight Automotive patches and pins. The company could possibly sell jackets and custom patches in the retail store.
A t-shirt design that would be very unique compared to the company's competitors.
A catalog cover design featuring sun rays, clean lines and bright photography (that uses basically white, black and red) combined with a wing graphic to display the year ranges.
